jono74656 asked: Having just re-watched IM2, I have to ask how you think Tony and Rhodey got through the 'Rhodey stole proprietary Stark tech and then made it available to Stark Industries biggest competitor' thing. I know they got to kick some ass together, but that only goes so far.
Let’s clarify something.
Tony gave him that suit. He just did it in a way that Rhodey wouldn’t ask questions.
Let’s look at the situation. Rhodey suspects something’s wrong. Rhodey helps him replace one of the cores, sees the damage, spots the ‘high tech crossword puzzle’ on Tony’s neck. Rhodey is suspicious at this point, and he’s observant and used to Tony’s tricks.
But he also has a bit of a blind spot when it comes to Tony making poor choices and ‘wasting his potential.’ For whatever reason (and I could take some guesses that it has something to do with Rhodey constantly and consistantly having to prove himself and be better than everyone around him because of his race and the fact that racism is still an institutionalized issue in this world) most of his clashes with Tony have been about the fact that Tony is acting like an immature and irresponsible ass.
Rhodey’s got a bit of a button there, and Tony can push it without even trying. When he IS trying? Well, that’s another thing entirely.

As it pertains to the Hobbit post I made yesterday,
I really appreciate that there are some people on this website who think my words are important enough to reblog and comment on, and who will fight for my words to be heard, and who are not afraid to call out problematic responses that try to dismiss what I said.
But I really am not okay with people dogpiling on one person, on my behalf, because they said something the wrong way, especially since I saw what that person said and was not offended by it, and I am seriously not okay with anonymous hate being sent to said person because you think I would be offended by it.
If you were offended by what that person said, then you tell them that, but you don’t send them anonymous hatemail and you don’t do it on my behalf. I can speak for myself, and if a comment offends me, I will comment on it, either in reblogs, through asks, or in a separate post, or if it’s really bad, I will just unfollow and block them, but I don’t need you to attack this person for saying what they said, especially anonymously.
Seriously, please don’t do this. It is really freaking me out that people think dogpiling, anonymously or not, on a person for my sake is a thing I would appreciate or support. Don’t be an abusive asshole to people, even if you don’t agree with them.
